Lessons come in all different ways.  Sometimes through another, sometimes through an experience and sometimes being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Blockages, Obstacles and/or Heartaches open a wide array of emotions.

This negative interaction can continue to weigh us down, impact our future decisions and hold us from achieving our dreams.

Haven’t we given enough energy and brain power to that situation? Isn’t it time we choose a happier story? If we’ve given the focus to the jerk that didn’t know how to aptly treat our heart, then our real partner is unable to step in the spotlight.  If we continue to replay the horrible work incident, then we aren’t allowing the promotion to come to fruition.

Let’s remove the spotlight from that horrible and, yet, learning experience and choose to put the brilliant spotlight on our future.

(This is a combination of lesson learned, empowering yourself with forgiveness and gaining confidence that you’ll not have to repeat this trial.)

 

6) WHAT ARE THE STRENGTHS THAT I’VE DISCOVERED THROUGH THIS INTERACTION?
(Boast about yourself! You are so much stronger than you realize!)

 

7) I LOVINGLY ACKNOWDLEDGE AND ACCEPT MY PART AND THEIR PART ON THIS JOURNEY
(Write this out. This is an action enabling you to release the lingering darkness caused by this ordeal.)

Write a thank you to the person or situation. Thank yourself for the emotions and experience. Appreciate everyone’s role in this learning experience. Choose to release the outcome, thanking God as you place this note in a fire (ashtray, firepit).

As it burns, say in your own words: “I am releasing all emotions, unnecessary attachments and negative emotions. I am releasing all connections, on all levels, holding me back for all time, space and dimensions.”

Wipe your hands together, as if dusting the grime off your hands, aiming them to the ground. Deep breath! And exhale. Smile!
