As part of Psychic September I’m doing a video series of unwrapping and first impressions of several tarot and oracle decks. I’m really excited to share all of these beautiful decks with you. First up is The Akashic Tarot deck by Sharon Anne Klingler and Sandra Anne Taylor and published by Hay House.

First Impressions – The Akashic Tarot Deck
This deck comes securely in a shrink-wrapped box. The box is beautifully decorated and I was so excited to open it up and see the artwork of all 62 cards. Just from the box you can see some of the detail the artist included.
One of the features I really love about Hay House decks is that they typically have notches on the top half of the deck box which makes it much easier to open. This deck has those notches as well.
When you open the box the guidebook is on top. Below, the cards are bound together with a snug paper band. The presentation is really nice.
Guidebook
The guidebook is thick and full of info. I rarely pay much attention to guidebooks, but I’m interested in looking closer at this one since it is thick and juicy. When I do an intuitive reading IÂ use the images more than the guidebooks. If you are just starting to use tarot cards the guidebooks can be really helpful. They often include a message for each card and card spreads.
Cards
The cards are thick and feel like a nice quality. The deck measures 1.25 inches thick!
The back of the deck is green with a gold design. Green is a great color for financial growth. Gold brings healing and love, which is great for communicating with your angels.
If you prefer traditional tarot decks, this one includes both the major and minor arcana.
The card images are beautiful! I love all the details the artist included in each one. You can easily use these cards in a reading just looking at the images.
The Akashic Tarot Deck Review was so fun to explore! It’s become one of my favorite decks and my clients! Could the Akashic Tarot deck be your next deck? What do you look for when choosing a new deck? Any decks you’d like to have a sneak peek?
